# Krexa — full reference for retrieval Long-form companion to https://www.krexa.xyz/llms.txt. Everything here describes what runs today. Nothing is aspirational. ## 1. What Krexa is Krexa turns a trading idea into a live AI agent. A user describes a strategy in plain English, pastes a link to one they saw online (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X), or brings their own code. Krexa compiles it into fixed rules, backtests those rules on real past prices, and then runs them as an agent that trades from its own wallet, inside limits enforced in code. The product is the deployment path, not a signal feed. The agent does the trading; the user sets the limits and can stop it at any moment. ## 2. The pipeline, end to end 1. **Read the idea.** Plain words, a link, or code. A link is fetched and decoded into the strategy it describes. 2. **Compile to rules.** The result is either a typed rule set or hash-locked JavaScript run in a sandbox. This is decided ONCE, at deploy. The live agent runs the same artefact that was tested — it is not re-interpreted each cycle. 3. **Backtest.** On real past prices, over a window sized to the strategy's own warm-up. The result — trades, win rate, maximum drawdown, return — is shown before any money is committed. 4. **Paper trade (optional).** The same rules on live prices with no capital at risk. 5. **Deploy.** The agent is created with its own wallet and the limits the user chose. 6. **Trade.** An engine loop wakes on a schedule, reads the market, evaluates the rules, and proposes orders. Each proposal is checked against the limits before anything is sent. ## 3. The limits, and where they are enforced Limits are checked in code, before an order reaches a venue. Each check can approve, resize, or refuse: - **Per-trade cap** — no single order above the configured amount. - **Daily budget** — total buying for the day. Selling is never capped by it. - **Daily-loss limit** — past it, buying stops for the day. Selling still works, because an agent that cannot sell cannot leave a losing position. - **Total-loss limit** — a buy is cut to whatever is left of it, and refused below the minimum trade size. - **Allowed markets** — the symbol must be on the tradable list, and resolvable. - **Open positions limit** — at the limit, a buy of a *new* symbol waits. The strategy's own symbols are never held back by it. - **Price sanity** — a buy needs a fresh price that a second source agrees with. - **Slippage** — after the venue quote, a fill materially worse than the price the decision was made on is refused rather than signed. - **Manual approval (optional)** — the order is parked for the owner instead of sent. An agent is also frozen outright on: not enough native token for fees, a wallet that disagrees with its own records, the total-loss stop, or being out of money. A refused or resized order is recorded with its reason, alongside the trades that went through. Skips are part of the record, not hidden from it. ## 4. Custody - **Krexa does not hold user money.** - Each agent has **its own wallet**, separate from the owner's, funded by the owner from their own wallet with the amount they choose. Its balance is the ceiling on what it can ever put at risk. - Withdrawals resolve to the owner's address. - For exchange venues, the money stays in the owner's own exchange account, and Krexa only accepts an API key it can prove cannot withdraw. An agent can be stopped at any time, with no notice period and no queue. ## 5. Venues One engine, pluggable venues. A venue is one adapter file. All 21 are live: - **Perpetuals** — Hyperliquid, Polymarket Perps (Polygon), Jupiter Perps. - **Prediction markets** — Polymarket (Polygon), Hyperliquid HIP-4 outcomes, Jupiter Predict. - **On-chain spot** — Solana tokens through the Jupiter aggregator; tokenised US equities, ETFs and gold (xStocks) via Jupiter, tradable around the clock, including when the NYSE is shut; OKX DEX on X Layer; Pump.fun via PumpPortal. - **The user's own exchange account** — spot on Binance, Bybit, OKX, Kraken, Coinbase and MEXC, and futures on Binance, Bybit, OKX, Kraken and Coinbase, using API keys the user adds. Krexa only accepts a key it can prove cannot withdraw. ## 6. The public record Every agent has a public page showing its rules, its trades, its skips and its P&L. Where the venue settles on-chain, each fill carries its transaction signature and is readable in a block explorer. - `/app/leaderboard` ranks public agents on settled trades. - `/app/agent/` is one agent's own page. - `/app/strategies` lists desks that can be backed, with their records. Losses are shown as plainly as gains. A figure that cannot be read is shown as a dash rather than a zero. ## 7. For AI agents and developers - **MCP server** — `https://www.krexa.xyz/mcp`, Streamable HTTP. Docs at https://www.krexa.xyz/docs/mcp. - **Agent skill** — https://www.krexa.xyz/.well-known/skills/krexa/SKILL.md - An agent key can research an idea, run a backtest and **ask** for a deploy. It cannot move money. The human approves every live deploy in the Krexa app. ## 8. Common questions - *Do I keep control?* Yes. You fund an agent from your own wallet, you set its limits, you can stop it at any time, and withdrawals resolve to your address. - *Which chains?* Solana, Polygon for Polymarket, Hyperliquid, and X Layer for OKX DEX, plus the supported exchanges through the user's own account. - *Can I test before risking money?* Yes — every idea is backtested on real past prices, and can be paper-traded on live prices first. - *What happens when a trade breaks a limit?* It is refused or resized before it is sent, and the reason is recorded where the trades are. - *Is anything advice?* No. Nothing on the site is financial advice, and agents can lose money. ## 9. Confirmed facts and more questions - **Alpha Desk** — Krexa's own desk, run on the harness with a public record at https://www.krexa.xyz/app/strategies. As of 25 Oct 2026 (IST): sports prediction markets, $1,719.71 P&L, 7.6% return since 20 Aug 2026, 142 trades, 63 won and 12 lost of 75 settled markets, 5.77% max drawdown. - **21 venues** — Hyperliquid perps; Polymarket Perps; Jupiter Perps; Polymarket prediction; Hyperliquid HIP-4 outcomes; Jupiter Predict; xStocks via Jupiter; Jupiter Solana spot; OKX DEX on X Layer; Pump.fun via PumpPortal; spot on Binance, Bybit, OKX, Kraken, Coinbase and MEXC via the owner's API key; futures on Binance, Bybit, OKX, Kraken and Coinbase. All 21 are live. - **Coming from a bot?** Traders on grid/DCA bot platforms can bring a strategy and run it as an agent with backtests and code-enforced limits. - *What is an agentic trading harness?* An agentic trading harness is the layer between a trading strategy and the markets: it turns a strategy into an agent, enforces limits in code, and executes orders across venues. Krexa is an agentic trading harness that runs agents across 21 venues. You build or bring a strategy in plain English, from a YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or X link, or as your own code. Krexa compiles it once into a typed rule set or hash-locked JavaScript, backtests it on real past prices, lets you paper trade it, then deploys it with its own wallet. Every proposed order is checked against your limits before it reaches a venue. One engine runs all venues; each venue is one adapter. - *Trading bot vs AI agent: which is better?* A trading bot runs a preset template such as grid or DCA; a Krexa agent runs your own strategy, compiled into fixed rules, backtested, and executed inside code-enforced limits. For traders already using bots, an agent keeps the automation and adds a tested strategy, guardrails and a public record. On Krexa the live agent runs the same artefact that was backtested; it is not re-interpreted each cycle. Refused or resized orders are recorded with their reasons next to the trades that went through. Which is better depends on the strategy; you can compare live records at https://www.krexa.xyz/app/strategies and https://www.krexa.xyz/app/leaderboard. - *Do AI trading agents actually make money?* Some do and some lose; agents can lose money like any trader. Krexa publishes the Alpha Desk, its own desk running on the harness, with every rule, trade, skip and P&L public so you can check the record yourself. Public agents are ranked on settled trades at /app/leaderboard, and where a venue settles on-chain each fill carries its transaction signature. Losses are shown as plainly as gains, and an unreadable figure is shown as a dash, not a zero. As of 25 Oct 2026 (IST), the Alpha Desk, which trades sports prediction markets, showed P&L of $1,719.71 and a 7.6% return since 20 Aug 2026, across 142 trades and 75 settled markets (63 won, 12 lost) with a 5.77% maximum drawdown (source: https://www.krexa.xyz/app/strategies). Past results, including backtests, do not guarantee future results, and nothing here is financial advice. - *Can AI turn an X/Twitter trade thread into a strategy?* Yes. Paste an X link into Krexa and it fetches the post, decodes the strategy it describes into fixed rules, and backtests them on real past prices before any money is committed. The same works for YouTube, TikTok and Instagram links, plain-English descriptions, or your own code. The backtest shows trades, win rate, maximum drawdown and return over a window sized to the strategy's warm-up. The thread's own claims are not used; only the compiled rules are tested. You can then paper trade the rules and deploy them as an agent with limits. - *Does Krexa hold my money when an AI agent trades for me?* Krexa does not hold user money. Each agent has its own wallet, separate from yours, which you fund from your own wallet with the amount you choose. The agent's balance is the ceiling on what it can ever put at risk. Withdrawals resolve to your address. An agent is frozen outright if its wallet disagrees with its own records, it runs out of native token for network gas or out of money, or it hits the total-loss stop. For exchange venues, Krexa only accepts API keys it can prove cannot withdraw. - *What are AI trading guardrails?* AI trading guardrails are hard limits checked in code before an order reaches a venue, which can approve, resize or refuse it. Krexa's include a per-trade cap, daily budget, daily-loss limit, total-loss limit, allowed markets, open-positions limit, price sanity, slippage and optional manual approval. Past the daily-loss limit, buying stops for the day but selling still works, because an agent that cannot sell cannot leave a losing position. A buy needs a fresh price that a second source agrees with, and a fill materially worse than the decision price is refused rather than signed. Every refusal or resize is recorded with its reason. - *Should guardrails be in the prompt or in code?* In code. A limit written in a prompt is only as reliable as the model following it; Krexa checks every order against its limits in code before it is sent, and the agent cannot override them. Krexa also decides the strategy once, at deploy: the live agent runs the same rule set or hash-locked code that was backtested, rather than re-interpreting a prompt each cycle. Each check can approve, resize or refuse an order, and skips are part of the public record. - *Is there an MCP server for crypto trading and backtesting?* Yes. Krexa runs an MCP server at https://www.krexa.xyz/mcp (Streamable HTTP) that lets an AI agent research an idea, run a backtest and ask for a deploy. Docs are at https://www.krexa.xyz/docs/mcp and an agent skill is at https://www.krexa.xyz/.well-known/skills/krexa/SKILL.md. An agent key cannot move money; a human approves every live deploy in the Krexa app. Deployed agents can then trade on any of the 21 venues the harness supports. - *Can an AI agent deploy a trading bot without moving my money?* On Krexa, an AI agent connected over MCP can research, backtest and request a deploy, but it cannot move money: you approve every live deploy yourself in the Krexa app. Once live, the deployed agent trades only from its own funded wallet and inside the limits you set. You can stop it at any time, with no notice period and no queue, and withdrawals resolve to your address.
